Job Summary

Manages new model programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified Joyson Safety Systems/customer objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities

Responsible for project(s) P&L.
Plans and develop timing using the Joyson Gate Review process for implementing new program launch directives. Directs and coordinates program activities, and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of program.
Monitors all project key deliverables dates to ensure obstacles to maintain timing are communicated and distributed within the organization so resolution is obtained.
Represents Joyson Safety Systems at premass production meetings, build events, customer driven meetings and other means of communication.
Reviews reports and records activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified project objectives and modifies or changes methodology as required.
Interfaces with Joyson Sales/Finance groups to communicate pending financial issues that Joyson Safety Systems should pursue with the customer
Forecasts and monitors departmental expenses of direct reports
Ensure program appropriation requests are accurately completed and submitted for management approval.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Performs other assignments as required.
Qualifications:

Ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of employees (including upper level management).
Communication
Must be able to facilitate meetings and set clear expectation with stakeholders. Must be able to compose plans and reports and make clear presentations.

Analytical skills.
Experience with creating standardized documentation and reports.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree; with over eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
English advanced
Strong Work Ethic

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
