Job purpose and impact
The Jr.

Merchant will handling a supplier base and fulfilling transactions delivering ingredients that meet production requirements and specifications in terms of timing, volume, quantity and cost.

We seek a professional who will support our business on developing and executing complex buying strategies leaning on a seasoned professional, will responsible for sourcing ingredients for animal feed plants across 11 facilities in Mexico.

Key accountabilities

Collaborate with transportation and logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and credit manager to ensure efficient execution and resolve routine problems.

Help plan purchases and transportation to maximize profitable use of stock and storage facilities. Enter most routine data and run specialty reports from our contract management databases and systems. Support other merchants on administrative as well as operation work around payment to suppliers, quality claims and others. Research and analyze various freight opportunities in the marketplace to maximize competitiveness. Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, international business, agroindustrial engineer, a related field or equivalent experience Intermediate to Advance English level Microsoft office intermediate Maximum 3 years of related work experience in agrobusiness either supply chain, sourcing or finance.
