Roles & Responsibilities:

Rol:

The role is of a hands-on developer motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming, thereby actively contributing to the development of new features.

This person will be a member of a cross-functional scrum team delivering Connect Platform & Ecosystem, Instrument Connectivity, Customer tenancy, Authorization, and Digital product subscriptions and entitlements.

Responsibilities:

Plans, participates, and performs the technical work of an assignment.
Contributes to the implementation, automated unit and integration testing, code reviews, debugging, and integration of code of extreme complexity across multiple concurrent projects.
Is authentic, transparent, and holding selfaccountable. Ability to collaborate with others.
Is willing to ask difficult questions and take risks. Greets challenge and change as an opportunity
A highly motivated, fast learner who can selfstart and "figure out what needs figuring out."
Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively document artifacts and processes and then explain them to others.

Education:

Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of relevant experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Excited about building worldclass software solutions that improve lives.
Significant understanding of objectoriented design and programming.
2+ years of solid hand experience with Java; other languages (C++, Ruby, Python, etc. will be considered).
2+ years JavaScript, HTML5/CSS.
Experience using Agile software development methodologies.
Prior exposure to scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Perl, Bash) on Windows or Linux.
Experience, instincts, and enthusiasm around testing and testability.
Experience with JavaScript Testing frameworks (mocha/jasmine, protractor/selenium, karma).
Experience working with a geographically distributed team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively document artifacts and processes and then explain them to others.
Knowledge of OOAD principles and methodologies (e.g. UML).
Web Service design experience: SOAP Request/Response handling, authentication, REST APIs
Experience with databases, persistence frameworks, and SQL.
Experience in Configuration Management tools and concepts.
