    We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accounting Associate based in Mexico City, to manage and lead the daily accounting tasks.

    The Senior Accounting Associate will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency of the company's finances.

    By contributing to the overall efficient operation of the department and by helping the company be fully aware of its financial condition, this role can help the company make the right decisions and accomplish long-term success.

    The ideal candidate should be able to work comfortably with numbers and have great attention to detail.

    What you will focus on:
    Assist external accountants with posting journal entries by providing all relevant supporting documentationReview journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded by external accountantsUpdate accounts payable, A/P master data, and perform reconciliationsUpdate accounts receivable, A/R master data, and perform reconciliationsEnsure proper application of controls in A/P and A/R processesReview the monthly/annual preparation of the balance sheet, income statement and other financial reports prepared by external accountants according to local GAAP and internal accounting guidelinesAssist in assessing current processes in terms of efficiencyAssist with other accounting projects and/or ad hoc projects, including landlord performance reports

    What we are looking for:
    BSc or Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field4-6 years of experience coming from a similar position within an accounting firm or in house accounting departmentDeep knowledge of local Mexican accounting principles, practices and reporting, local fiscal regulations and obligations, so as specific residential real estate fiscal and tax requirementsBasic experience on establishing controlsFluency in EnglishExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeExcellent organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailNumbers driven individual with analytical acumenFamiliarity with Navision 365 accounting software will be considered as a plusYour benefits:
