What you will do:
- Identify and close new business opportunities independently, demonstrating your proactive and selfdriven approach to sales success.
- Engage with seniorlevel prospects in the Transportation Management industry, building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
- Deliver customized logistics solutions to Global 2000 accounts, utilizing your expertise in solution and product selling.
- Drive topline logo acquisition by targeting and acquiring potential clients for our comprehensive logistics services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize our services and meet the unique requirements of each client.
- Utilize your negotiation skills to close deals and secure longterm partnerships.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services.
Requirements:
- EXPERIENCE identifying, generating, and closing new business.
- EXPERIENCE in supply chain/logistics with a hunter mentality; thrives on winning in a competitive environment.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas and managing sales performance metrics.
- EXPERIENCE maximizing CRM to track and report on leads, sales, and customer management activities.
- Business acuity and presence required to build credible relationships with EVP and C‐Suite level clients.
- You're resultsoriented, always on the lookout for ways to improve and shake things up.
- You have good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
- A flexible, dynamic, self‐demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal team members and external audiences.
Bonus Points if:
- Experience in selling logistics services to large enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software solutions
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
- Understanding of supply chain optimization and costsaving strategies
- You have used big data management systems like Power BI, R, SQL, Tableau and SAS.
- If you've dabbled in the world of omnichannel or brickandmortar experiences.
