WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE


As Automation & Controls Supervisor you will coordinate and participate in the design and execution of engineering projects, guaranteeing the company's quality and safety standards and ensuring efficient operation.

Coordinate and align the efforts and activities of the project time and the alignment with the manufacturing, quality, safety, and maintenance functional areas.

Additionally, you will be responsible for leading an agenda of improvement and savings projects from the design phase to execution.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- "End to end" coordination in the preparation and implementation of projects

  • Project engineering design for new site automation and control design: define requirements, equipment specifications, cybersecurity requirements, instrumentation specifications, automation network, etc. Project engineering execution guide/main contractors for defined design facilities. Work with factory operations for startup and delivery.
  • Coordination with the other functional areas of the conceptualization and design of the projects and confirming technical feasibility
  • Definition of the technical aspects of the projects, definition of the equipment and technologies that will be used for the manufacturing of personal care products
  • Preparation of CAPEX and expense control for projects
  • Supervision and direction of savings projects
  • Establish processes, procedures, technical specifications of everything that the project entails
  • Technical evaluation of proposals for equipment, accessories, and assemblies
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality policies, standards, and procedures during the project until its final delivery
  • Manage, analyze, and detect opportunities for improvement
  • Manage KPIs.
  • Leadership of SHE and Quality standards applicable to the Engineering area
  • Coordination of engineering and construction time contracted for the execution of projects

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be a graduate of one of the Engineering programs
  • Experience of 5 years in execution of Engineering projects
  • Experience/knowledge of project management/EEM (Early Equipment Management)
  • Coordinate engineering packages with knowledge of industry standards and engineering systems such as CAD, Procore, Primavera and MS Project
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning Desirable
