ROLE SUMMARY
This role is part of Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC).

The activities of this role are primarily focus on Instrumentation engineering design, customer documentation, bills of material, manufacturing drawings and customer specification revision.

The incumbent performs engineering design activities on time, engineering job activities in accordance with quality requirements, preparation of specific order documents and job-related calculations.


RESPONSABILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

  • Take ownership of engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with BU's and GTEC Engineers to improve the Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.
  • Have strong collaboration with project team.
  • Follow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.
  • Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate & resolve shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues; record & report findings, make corrections & help develop and implement permanent, costeffective solutions.
  • Create Instrumentation diagrams, and other instrumentation documents.
  • Generates bills of material.
  • Identify new/improved design standard and procedural documents.
  • Responsible for identifying upgrades opportunities for processes and products.
  • Perform basic design calculations.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Delivery on time engineering deliverables.
  • Meet project timelines for engineering documentation and gathers approvals at the first issue.
Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation.


SKILLS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Instrumentation engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
years of related experience.

  • Computer-Assisted Design / 2D and 3D design.
  • Analytical, problem solving and computer skills.
  • Good planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Basic English verbal and in written form.
  • Communicate professionally and with accepted business etiquette.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills
