A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview):

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing the cost-effective supply of materials & services in line with company processes based on customer requirements, while maintaining quality and on-time delivery standards.

Internally, you will provide excellent detail-oriented customer service to our Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Finance teams.


How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a costefficient supply of materials in line with demand.
  • Support Order Winning enquiries in an efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to meet operational/customer requirements and ensure clear communication & escalation of risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier delivery, invoices, invoice inquiries, quality performance and address performance issues with suppliers as necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner & to a high standard.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively seek process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.g. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)
  • Proactively prevent and manage quality defects with each supplier.
  • Comply with Company policies at all times, for example, Business Conduct Guidelines and Confidential Information.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience required within Procurement & Supply Chain.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft office products (Power Point, Word and Excel).
  • Experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Must be customer focused and a collaborative team player.
  • Possess the ability to assess priorities, demonstrate flexibility and understand sense of urgency.
  • Selfmotivated, detail oriented, demonstrate problem solving abilities, decisionmaking, and continuous improvement skills.
