- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project management and engineering teams.
- Lead a multidisciplinary commissioning team consisting of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to execute commissioning activities efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials required for commissioning activities.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, inspections, and functional tests to verify the integrity and operability of systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and discrepancies identified during the commissioning process.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards throughout the commissioning phase.
- Provide regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and challenges.
- Participate in project meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits to promote a culture of safety and quality excellence.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to facilitate a smooth transition from commissioning to operational readiness.
- Support training activities for operations personnel to ensure proper operation and maintenance of commissioned systems and equipment.
- You will be the commissioning manager on a $2B power plant under construction in Tuxpan Mexico.
- A strong understanding of production processes and equipment, along with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Experience in managing large-scale commissioning activities, including developing plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Effective leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, along with excellent communication skills to convey objectives, expectations, and feedback clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Base Compensation: $120/hour - $150/hour (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
