  • Interact with a wide range of Internal Customers and Technical Issues
  • Problemsolving knowledge
  • Developing and tracking of robust Industrialization Plans
  • Lead assigned suppliers in implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Robust execution of Manufacturing Feasibility assessments, PFMEA, Special Characteristics (SCCAF) and Control Plans.
  • Measurement Systems Analysis (GR&R)
  • CAR Capacity Analysis Report (tool to analyze capacity line /equipment tooling)
  • Health Charts & Manufacturing Process Standards compliance and validation of implementation on supplier's production/manufacturing floor

RESPONSIBILITIES
Site STA responsibilities

  • Serve as single point of contact for assigned supplier sites, accountable for site performance for new product launch and ongoing part quality.
  • Provide technical support to aid in improving quality systems and lead all quality concern resolution for suppliers and Ford plant.
  • Support to the supplier to be certified (ISO, IATF, Q1 ) for a better performance. Ensure all their documentation APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) / PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and review that they match as each other.
  • Drive Supplier Process capacity actions execution, Capacity issues resolution, capability verification & risk mitigation working Supplier leadership teams.
  • Drives engagement of Top Poor Performing Suppliers and Quality performance improvement.
  • Drives Flawless launches globally, by ensuring external suppliers are robustly prepared to support new programs through effective deployment of APQP / PPAP disciplines.
  • Escalates capability shortfalls and supports crossfunctional mitigation activities.
  • Providing supporting sourcing process to supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Automotive experience 3+ years of experience
  • Chassis or Powertrain knowledge
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Lean and Six Sigma
  • Advanced English
  • Attention to detail
  • Initiative / escalation / negotiation
  • Flexibility (coaching, teaching and support) to suppliers
