Programmer/Analyst 3

Education:

BS degree in Computer science, Electrical engineering or equivalent.

5 years or more on:

Software development experience preferably in python.
Experience with the LAMP stacks (Linux/Apache/MySQL/Python).
Test development experience for computing & storage products.
Experience in direct support to product manufacturing and test.
Handson expertise with Linux and Linux scripting tools.
Experience in developing test strategies & test development a plus.

Knowledge:

Programming Languages:
Bash, Python, Linux scripting.

Database management and SQL development (Database design, stored procedures, views, queries)..

Windows and Linux OS advanced comprehension.

Electronic knowledge, reading and interpreting schematics, server architecture a plus.
Knowledge in handling of measuring equipment, (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, LCR, Spectrum Analyzer)

Skills:

Programming skills based on Linux scripting
Proficient in Spanish and English Languages.

Responsibilities:

Developing and supporting product tests at VES's domestic and international manufacturing sites.

Develop test software to:
Functionally verify PCBA and System level HW, Control switches, PDUs, measurement devices

PXE boot devices under test.

Supporting new product introductions through comprehensive test strategies for Final Functional PCBA, Systems and Burn In testing.

Pre-release test strategies to support product development and qualification.

Support the work cell personnel during production runs to assist with improving FPY numbers and assisting with test failures (debugging, troubleshooting).
