Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club has announced the appointment of Mark Hodgdon as its new general manager. Hodgdon brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the hospitality industry to the club.

Recently, Hodgdon served as the General Manager at Hilton Atlanta Airport. During his tenure, he completed the final stages of a 510-room hotel renovation, completed the successful negotiation of important business contract extensions, and for the first time, the hotel was recognized by TripAdvisor with the coveted 2023 Travelers Choice Award. Under Hodgdon's leadership, the hotel experienced significant growth in overall hotel revenues and overall profitability.

Before his role at Hilton Atlanta Airport, Hodgdon served as the Owner and Partner of the Los Cabos Collection. In this venture, he facilitated the startup of a boutique property management and vacation rental company in Los Cabos, Mexico, achieving positive cash flow within the first six months of operations despite the challenges posed by COVID-19.

From February 2013 to May 2020, Hodgdon held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. During his tenure, he achieved impressive results including significant improvement in employee satisfaction, elevating service levels to achieve the TripAdvisor "Best of the Best" recognition as well as a substantial increase in revenue and NOI.

Hodgdon has also held significant roles at other prominent establishments, such as The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Starwood Hotels & Resorts at The Phoenician and The Ritz-Carlton and Huntington Hotel & Spa, showcasing his diverse expertise in luxury hospitality management.

With a career spanning more than four decades, Hodgdon has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to excellence. He has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results, fostering positive team dynamics, and enhancing guest and member satisfaction.
