More about the role:

Responsibilities:

Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process
Manage Mexico TTS Trade technology strategy, Program/Projects to transform current state to go to the Global target state in alignment with the TTS LATAM Trade roadmap
Lead and deliver local staff forums, present global, regional, and location news and updates to engage team in the progress of organization
Develop vision for team around roles and responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures
Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders
Utilize indepth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience to demonstrate the strong technical knowledge in some of following technologies: Java, Spring, Relational SQL databases, SQL databases (MongoDB or similar), Talend, JavaScript, Java Rest APIs, Mobile apps, Microservices apps, Messaging, Data life cycle (data acquisition, data quality management, data governance, and metadata management),.Net, C#
Development experience in legacy technologies such as VB, Delphi, SQL is a plus

English level advanced

Fluent to have many conversations in different senior forums
Experience managing transformation projects / programs, driving operational process change and improvements in a technology organization.
Experience in relevant and new technologies.
Experience in management
Experience managing global technology teams
Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Experience in delivering projects within a complex financial services environment
Knowledge and experience with test automation, preferably Selenium
Solid practical knowledge of Agile delivery
Strong experience with data analysis and presentation tools (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint) and good presentation skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
Portuguese is a plus
