Job Title: Automotive Seating Engineer

Job Description:

Adient (NYSE: ADNT) is a global leader in automotive seating, producing and delivering seating solutions to all major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). We are currently seeking a highly motivated Automotive Seating Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test automotive seating systems and components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality departments to ensure customer needs are met
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost estimates for new designs
• Implement design changes based on customer and internal requirements
• Conduct testing and analysis to evaluate new and existing designs
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends to incorporate new technologies and materials into designs
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive seating design and development
• Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Flexibility to travel as needed to manufacturing/assembly plants and customer locations
