The Role


The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing the many creative projects that come into the department and are executed by in-house writers and designers as well as outside agencies and freelancers.

In addition to managing the team's day-to-day workflow and keeping projects on schedule, the Marcom Manager will communicate regularly with campaign managers and stakeholders to manage priorities, provide status reports and allocate resources when requests change.

This is a high-visibility role within marketing that requires excellent collaboration, attention to detail, execution, integrity, entrepreneurial thought and action and a customer-first mindset.

Your Impact

  • Manage and track the progress of all the projects coming into the department and ensure client requirements are met
  • Effectively navigate a significant project workload with conflicting priorities and identify issues early before projects are at risk
  • Work crossdepartmentally with managers, team leads and executives to prioritize assignments against clear objectives and assign clear responsibility for tasks
  • Ensure internal Brand Resource Sharepoint site and Marcom's digital asset management (DAM) are kept up to date
  • Meet regularly with inhouse writer and designers—as well as outside vendors—to ensure critical milestones are met; provide creative input as needed
  • Review existing processes and identify improvements to better manage workflow and resource allocation, using existing systems and tools or by suggesting alternative solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Program managers on integrated campaign plans and manage expectations associated with them
  • Ensure internal teams have what they need to fulfill their tasks and find ways to reduce or eliminate barriers
  • Organize and run scrum meetings as needed using Agile Development methodologies
  • Manage budget, vendors and other resources working closely with Marcom Director
What You'll Need

  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of corporate marketing or agency experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams and vendors to execute projects on time and on budget
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs including Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Adobe Creative Suite and Sharepoint a plus
  • Detail oriented
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Curious and eager to grow in Marketing
