Objective:
(Description of the position's objectives)

Analyze and provide timely information on key EHS and Sustainability metrics, during new project processes, use and monitor the EHS Velocity system for data analysis and decision making, as well as generate strategic action plans for risk reduction, in process and machine usage.

Objectively engage people to achieve business goals and department objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost reduction, promoting, reinforcing and ensuring alignment with corporate policies, ethics and legal compliance.

ADVANCED ENGLISH SPEAKER AND WRITER

Daily activities:

Analysis of information in the Velocity system 2.
Upload and document within the Velocity system action plans, findings, and projects 3.
Walkthroughs in productive areas
Review vendor and contractor requirements, work releases.
Provide EHS, induction, and specific courses to contractors.

Periodic activities:

Hazard analysis of machinery, equipment and processes 2.
Document BBS, and near-miss in velocity system on a weekly basis 3.
Review of savings projects
Provide induction to contractors and new hires.
Shipments of hazardous waste and special handling waste, and keep track of manifests, as well as validate that the waste area and warehouses are in optimal conditions.
MOC analysis and releases
Floor audits to identify opportunities for risk control.
Ergonomic analysis
Conferences with the EHS group
Document work procedures
