• Finance Shared, Galeana 469 Ote, Santa Catarina, 66350 Mexico
  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage, support, and validate payments to freight carriers on a weekly basis.
• Ensure freight damage claims are addressed and accounted for in a timely manner.
• Prepare required journal entries and account reconciliations associated with freight accounting, including the allocation of specific freight expenses.
• Assist with developing and summarizing data used in calculating the inbound and outbound freight reserves.
• Process and account for cash refunds received from freight carriers.
• Assist with the resolution of freight invoice exceptions for processing by the third
• party freight payment provider.
• Support other projects, initiatives and requests impacting freight accounting as needed.

• Associates degree, 610+ years' experience
• Bachelor's degree, 25 years' experience
  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
• Knowledge of SAP and HFM preferred
• Experience with freight companies and processes is a plus
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self
• driven with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Exceptional customer service skills including follow
• up and follow through
