Mechanical Technician

We are looking for a mechanical technician who repair/refurbish machines in our workshop. Strong knowledge in pumps and cyclones equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Carry on inspections on equipments and execute tests to detect problems.
Write reports according to findings in first inspection.
Assembly equipment according to our standards.
Repair equipment when is necessary, experience like welding, sandblasting is a plus
Install equipment on site if is necessary.

Actions demonstrate to colleagues desirable personal character, commitment, organizational work habits and skills.

Able to interact and cooperate with coworkers and customer personnel in professional manner.

Maintain open communications with Service Coordinator

Working Enviroment:
General industrial environment. Occasionally extreme environments (outdoor, hot, cold, dusty, greasy, grimy, etc.)

Working around operating heavy equipment at mining and Cement Industry.

Must be ready to travel in short notice.

What you bring:
Solid technical experience with mining/cement industry, installation and or maintenance of equipment for this segment.

Experience with the use of basic tool (hammer, screwdriver, etc)

Welding experience is a plus

English is a plus.

Good Interpersonal relationship

Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Office, Outlook,etc).

Team player & strong work ethics and integrity.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements:
Mechanical Technician or related.

Physical Demands:

Requires working indoors/outdoors in hot and cold environments.
Standing for long periods of time.
Travel by both driving and air.
