Genesys PureCloud - Telecom Engineer

Function:


  • Under general management, responsible for all administrative, operational, and technical aspects of the Genesys PureCloud telephone and data communication systems within the assigned location. Responsible for customer service, including service delivery and communication.
  • Effectively administers all Genesys PureCloud telephony systems in assigned locations
  • Provide day/day support on all telephony system administration
  • Tasks and Incidents via SNOW Ticketing system
  • Provides monthly patching support as required.
  • Manage Support Tickets with the vendor and provide daily updates
  • Coordinates all telephony integration with Networking Departments
  • Performs all adds, moves and changes in Genesys PureCloud and related telephony equipment
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks on Genesys PureCloud systems as specified by the vendor

  • Performs and keeps up to date on all IT Security requirements
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 5 years of handson Genesys telephony experience
- _Genesys PureCloud certification(s) is required, at the least basic administration cert - current_
- _Hands on working experience with Genesys Components - specifically IC Server, Media Server, I3 Edge Gateways. SIP Proxy experience is a plus. Handler's experience is a plus._
- _Good working knowledge of Networking and Networking protocols_

  • Network certifications
  • Basic networking
  • Thorough working knowledge of Windows Servers and the day/day maintenance and patching
- _Hands-on working knowledge with VoIP, understanding of VoIP Protocols including QoS._

  • Knowledge of WAN/LAN network
  • Thorough knowledge of Telephony signaling protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- _Good English
  • Speaking and understanding_
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must.
