We are seeking a highly skilled Excel Specialist and Model Auditor for our team at ABA Finance in Tijuana.

As an Excel Specialist and Model Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our financial models and data analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

Audit and enhance complex financial models in Microsoft Excel to support various financial analyses, forecasting, and decisionmaking processes.
Review and validate financial models, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks, providing valuable insights to support business strategies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data inputs, validate assumptions, and streamline processes for data collection and analysis.
Conduct thorough audits of financial models, identifying and rectifying errors, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies.
Stay uptodate with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to financial modeling and data analysis.
Train and mentor team members on advanced Excel techniques, modeling methodologies, and data analysis techniques.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including management, highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Excel Specialist or Financial Model Auditor, preferably in the finance or auditing field.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables, data visualization, and macros/VBA.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends and patterns.
Solid understanding of financial concepts, modeling techniques, and accounting principles.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to financial modeling and data analysis.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and model auditing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to nontechnical stakeholders.
Proactive mindset, selfmotivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Relevant certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA would be an advantage.
