Job Description:


Job Description Summary:
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and resource availability.
  • Daily monitor schedule compliance.
  • Communicate priorities to production, quality, and inventory
  • Prepare and report data and information. Analyze nature and scope of routine problems and resolve or provide information for resolution. Maintain detailed records and logs.
  • Attend meetings to plan and follow customer projects. Observe and identify potential issues that could inhibit the progress of projects. Effectively communicate potential problems to other departments.
  • Work directly with production and supply chain to plan schedules and change overs while monitoring supplies, finish goods, and WIP inventories
  • Communicate production status updates to stakeholders

Requirements:


  • Industrial, Mechanical, Electronical Engineering degree or similar 3 5 years' experience in similar position
  • Analytical/datadriven approach to problem solving
  • Communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Ability to lead, build consensus and work within a team environment
  • Result oriented and promote customer satisfaction
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Experience in Metal mechanic Industry or Make to order products (Desirable)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
