Warehouse supervisor (Medical Industry)

Position Summary


Responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, equipment, and parts, in warehouse including but not limited to the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Send and receive materials
  • Monitoring the expiration date of materials, warning before expiration and scrapping after expiration
  • Register all records of warehouse
  • Responsible for periodical warehouse counting, ensure the compliance between account and goods
  • Arrange the return for the raw materials which has physical inventory, when necessary
  • Daily update of the chemical account according to the chemical requisitioning
  • Survey the environment of semifinished products warehouse, maintaining good environment during the nonworking hours
  • Inventory physical counting and reconciliation process with accounting record
  • Warehouse space planning
  • Order process and finished product inventory
  • Order packaging info and documents
  • Raw material and finished products inandout of warehouse
  • Inventory report, receiving/shipping documents, distribution cost,
  • Supplier delivery, material return, raw material receiving notice
  • Cross training of warehouse staff

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing.

hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance:
rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems,


Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required;
  • 5 years warehouse/inventory experience required;
  • 3 years of supervisory experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of shipping international law and regulations;
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must he organized, detail oriented and accurate;
  • Dependable, honest. selfmotivated and team player;
  • Excellent communication skills:
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply. divide);
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems:
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft office, including an ERP system
  • Must possess behaviors that support high level of commitment and services to the Customer.
