General Description:
Leads all operational activities of the organization to maximize growth and profitability. Provide daily Leadership and management of all manufacturing and operations functions. Collaborating with executive level in the strategic planning to develop plant performance and behavioral objectives, maximizing efficiency and productivity. Work with management levels at the site in order to support and ensure all the goals are achieved.
Responsabilities:
Lead daily operations of the manufacturing and plant processes. Ensure efficient operations with minimal downtime and high quality products; this includes continuous improvement initiatives, a robust predictive maintenance program, and a training program across the entire facility.
To promote safety culture to create a safe, clean, and secure work environment by establishing and implementing strategies, rules, and regulations; regularly monitors all production-related safety systems and procedures. Regularly conduct security meetings and review the effectiveness of programs and processes. Manage all capital expenses.
Guide and act as mentor on the CI and problem solving initiatives showing high mastering to guide the teams to focus on the key projects to obtain the desired results towards cost reduction focus.
Make sure to receive and manage material correctly. Oversee and monitor all aspects of inventory management.
Support for contract negotiations for new businesses/products to increase profitability
Provide timely responses to service failures and customer concerns through structured problem solving approach.
Minimize and resolve external business-related complaints by liaising with local and divisional quality personnel to investigate and resolve customer issues.
Create financial plans AOP with Finance, drive actions to achieve the target cost every month and present the results to upper management.
Create and present adjusted AOP to the VP Ops with strategies to hit the commitments.
Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic objectives.
Planned, monitored, and analyzed key metrics for daily operations performance to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Develop strategies to ensure growth programs across the enterprise by identifying and implementing improvement processes that will maximize output and minimize costs.
Maintained the organization's policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor systems and daily operating processes that provide visibility into our key initiatives' goals, progress, and roadblocks.
Responsible for supply chain management, compliance, and import-export
Academic:
Bachelor's Degree / Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related careers.
Postgraduate studies in related field is desirable.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.
Experience and knowledge of more than 5 years in production.
Experience and knowledge in Supply Chain management.
Experience and knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.
Experience and knowledge in Financial Planning.
Experience and knowledge in quality systems.
Experience and Knowledge implementing Shingo principles and systems (desirable)
Experience in Plastic products (desirable).
Experience in Molding and Extrusion (desirable).
