    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, specializing in production accounting. This role bridges the gap between high-level financial analysis and hands-on operational management. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of production expenses, from reviewing and coding invoices to preparing month-end accruals and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

    The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage high volumes of data independently, and possesses the analytical rigor to ensure all production schedules are accurate and compliant.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review, code, and process all production-related invoices, ensuring accurate GL alignment and adherence to budget categories.
    • Manage the onboarding and documentation review for new production vendors and partners.
    • Maintain and standardize the Workday Project to ensure data integrity across all networks.
    • Prepare monthly accruals for production goods and services received but not yet invoiced to ensure accurate financial cutoff.
    • Execute monthly production flash accruals, and prepaid talent amortization.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly production reports, highlighting program cost variances, seasonal trends, and key financial analytics for management.
    • Generate monthly cash flow statements specifically for production sections.
    • Analyze production costs proactively to identify trends, potential overages, and opportunities for cost reductions or savings.
    • Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual spend and forecasted budgets.
    • Act as the primary liaison between the Finance and Accounting groups to resolve unusual items and ensure all schedules are up to date.
    • Support internal and external audit requests and take an active role in SOX compliance and internal control testing.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Specific experience in Production Accounting is highly preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
    • Experience with Workday or Coupa similar ERP systems is a strong plus.
    • Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting and invoice coding.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions under tight deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels (English/Spanish).
    • A "self-starter" mentality with the ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.
