Platform Software Design Engineer:

ZF is looking to hire a Platform
Software Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art R&D center located in Monterrey, Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Design of base software components for embedded systems in accordance with the requirements.
Optimization of the design in terms of resources (RAM/ROM runtime) and other criteria
Design of embedded software and associated tooling (e.g., code Generators)
Close international cooperation with other departments, customers, and projects
Support for implementation and testing in the areas of requirement analysis, architecture, and integration.
Development of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Configuration management: Check work on regular basis and create baselines for all major releases.
Analyze data from Vehicle test or synthetic test.
Design of AUTOSAR software component descriptions with modeling tools.
ARX ML File generation.
Specification of the behavior of the components using UML
Support Project Management for effort estimation and planning.
Other duties as requested.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant related degree.
5+ years of experience.
Basic knowledge in Microcontroller Architecture.
Working knowledge of C/C++ as well as the software development lifecycle.
Experience with embedded software development.
Ability to integrate software with target hardware.
Software Version Control Tools (Such as GIT).
Strong communication skills.
Availability to travel (10%).
Business fluent written and Spoken English.
Experience with Requirement Database tool such as IBM Doors.
Experience with Software Architecture and Design tools as IBM Rapsody.
Scripting language knowledge such as Python.

Nice to have:

Software security analysis according to ISO2626
Multicultural experience desired.
Master's degree preferred.
