Description:

Develop LLM plugins that can answer factual questions based on a provided document or knowledge base.

Tasks:

• Learn to load and query: A pre-trained LLM (start with a smaller model for efficiency).
• Integrate with document storage: Connect the plugin to cloud storage or document repository.
• Design a simple user interface: Allow users to input questions and receive answers processed by the LLM.
• Experiment and iterate: Improve the plugin's accuracy and ability to handle different question types.

Success looks like:

• A functional plugin that demonstrates your understanding of core LLM concepts.
• Ability to explain your design choices and the challenges you overcame.
• Demonstrated growth in your Python and cloud development skills throughout the project.

Requirements:

Essential:

• 2+ years of total experience.
• Bachelors degree or higher preferred in a computing-related field.
• Strong interest in Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ideally with some experience on Vertex AI.
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

Desirable:

• Understanding of API concepts.
• Some knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior developers on designing and building LLM plugins.
• Test and debug plugin code to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Implement simple NLP techniques to enhance plugin features.
• Learn and adapt to LLM plugin development frameworks
• Document your work and contribute to project knowledge bases.
• Stay updated on developments in the LLM space.
