Overall Responsibilities:

Provide a variety of administrative and project management support for programs and services offered by IAAPA's Latin American office.

The below duties provide an overview of typical duties; however they are not all encompassing and may vary as business needs require:

  • Manage the Latin American and membership inboxes.
  • Manage the Latin American calendar in SharePoint/Outlook.
  • Support the Membership & Communications Manager on managing and updating the membership and prospect databases.
  • Support the implementation of the membership, marketing and sales and renewal strategies.
  • Support the education manager on education program planning for webinars, conferences, and face to face education.
  • Assist with education and events registration as needed.
  • Assist team members in conducting research studies and reports for the Latin America region.
  • Asist in updating website content as needed for marketing communications and education programs, products, and services.
  • General administrative duties include scheduling conference calls, assisting with staff travel, preparing expense reports, assembling meeting and events materials, developing presentations, following up with vendors.
  • Other duties as required.
IAAPA Attractions Expo Annual Conference and Trade Show Pre-Event

  • Assist with registration details for attendees and exhibitors.
  • Assist with members credentials requests.
  • Support on creating and sending letters of invitation and receipts for attendees.

Qualifications:


  • 35 years' experience in an administrative position.
  • Bachelor's degree required or the equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Multilingual

  • Spanish, English 100% and preferably Portuguese.
  • Required organizational and customer service skills.
  • Proven experience in a fastpaced work environment, managing multiple priorities at the same time required.
  • Good computer skills (MS, Office 365, Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF, etc.) website content management system, membership/customer database.
