- Oversee and direct projects within the business unit in alignment with ZF's new product introduction management protocols.
- Manage all facets of a project throughout its lifecycle, encompassing the phases of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Assist in acquisition efforts during pre-award stages on a case-by-case basis as coordinated with program management leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from project award through post-launch stages.
- Collaborate with all departments impacted by the project to ensure seamless integration of all project deliverables.
- Balance the competing demands of project scope, timeline, and budget while ensuring high-quality outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Track project progress through internal assessments, engage in team discussions, provide assistance as necessary, and resolve escalated issues both internally and with clients.
- Support ongoing programs that undergo significant changes directed by clients and engage in value analysis and value engineering cost reduction initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or a related technical discipline is mandatory.
- Preferred professional certifications include CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- A minimum of two years of project management experience in the automotive industry is essential.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently is crucial.
- Ability to inspire and lead team members is important.
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Project, and MS Office is advantageous.
