PAYROLL & HRIS MANAGER


JOB SUMMARY:

The Payroll & HRIS Manager is responsible for managing the HRIS implementation for Android's International plants.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for payroll of different plants, and support implementation of Ceridian system.
  • Solid understanding of all human resources technology including Global Payroll system, HRIS, Applicant tracking system.
  • Elaborate and agree to the plan project for payroll system implementation and potential changes.
  • Work closely with HR Managers, Finance and Global HR Managers to ensure that processes are in place to properly support and govern local HR policy.
  • Support Project Weekly Meetings with Android team and with Ceridian team and set up as needed.
  • Support the HRIS implementation team on making sure all phases of the project are carried out.
  • Work Meetings for test scenarios and additional support.
  • Make sure the local team is testing all scenarios.
  • Make sure everything is translated to the language of the Country.
  • Open tickets/cases to Ceridian and follow up on them.
  • Review data, documents, and upload those in applicable documents storage.
  • Prepare training documents for End-User.
  • Prepare Communication Documents for Go-Live.
  • Support for Go-Live and post Go-Live.
  • Provide support for HRM system, including researching and resolving HRM system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Develop standard reports for ongoing customer needs and write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures that govern time collection, payroll processing and taxation.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Compile team member time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Ensure compliance with union contracts. Ans company benefit policies.
  • Review time sheets, wage computations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Administer calculations and processing related to pay adjustments, final paychecks, pay cards and pay differentials as necessary.
  • Analyze and solve payroll errors and issues with HR responsible.
  • Ensure Team Member data changes are updated in the HRIS system.
  • Support the changes for union dues and benefit rate changes.
  • Manage and process terminations.
  • Maintain attendance points system and policy.
  • Manage and process bereavement.
  • Audit and update the pay rates to the CBA.
  • Process all employee transfers and promotions.
  • Audit employee onboarding.
  • Enter all the new employees' salaries.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: 5 10 years or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Knowledge of HRIS system. Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • English and Spanish fluence.
  • Knowledge of Country/Region Labor Standards and compensation taxes
  • Yearend tax reporting/reconciliation knowledge
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics; maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong conflict resolution and influencing skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Speak and write clearly and informatively; present numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
