    Who We Are

    Colgate-Palmolive Global Information Technology department is looking for an IT Governance Analyst to join its organization. The Global Governance team is responsible for helping the Information Technology organization to review and comply with policies and procedures which meet Colgate's business needs. As part of this team you will be tasked to coordinate and evaluate solutions used to track audit reports, which will be a combination of software, custom developed solutions and collaboration with other teams within the organization worldwide. This is an exciting position requiring strong skills in analysis of data, critical thinking to evaluate options and technical knowledge to understand current automated solutions and the development of new automated processes to help improve the current state.

    The Governance Analyst will work with the different functions in the Global Information Technology department around the globe to analyze, track and understand different requirements where audit data is used, as well as the accompanying documentation. This position has a hybrid model option in Mexico City.

    What you'll do
    This is a hands-on role, responsible for improving and supporting our Governance initiatives using policies, procedures and technology to ensure compliance in processes executed though the IT tools

  • Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support
  • Collaborate with the different internal Information Technology organizations in Americas, Asia and Europe including other cross-functional business units to ensure compliance and adherence to Colgate methodologies and policies
  • Responsible for supporting activities on creation of solutions to help compliance in audit and risk and compliance strategies.
  • Responsible for coordinate and track all requirements during internal and external audits
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure compliance with all policies and standards
  • Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years on IT role developing solutions
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/Java or equivalent object oriented programming and scripting language
  • Experience working with an audit process
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge of Governance Data; data privacy, data handling and global data protection regulations
  • Strong organizational, research, and problem-solving skills to evaluate situations, make recommendations and take effective action independently
  • Ability to think with an auditor mentality
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual - Strong english and spanish oral and written
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, and/or Computer Science
