Production Line Leader

About the job
RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Production Line Leader. This role will sit in Ramos Arizpe, MX. This position will be the "right hand" to the Head of Production Manager

The role is for responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods.

This position will assist with all relevant tasks and independently develop projects for savings and process optimization

The Production Line Leader will travel both domestically and internationally with about 10% travel time

The Production Line Leader tasks include:

Personnel administration and management
Production order tracking
KPI's, objectives and indicators of Safety, Environmental, Quality, Productivity
Development and Management or procedures and work instructions
Optimization of material, technical and human resources
Management of Production Programs

About you

Do you have:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process, Materials or related
2 years of experience as a production supervisor or similar position
Experience in areas of Safety, Quality, Maintenance in Manufacturing Industry is preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
Knowledge of production metrics (OEE, HH/T, Scrap, Lean Manufacturing)
Knowledge in SAP is a plus
High proficient with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of characteristicsprocessing refractory materials is preferred
Training in ISO 45001 / 14001 is a plus
Excellent Strategic, Problem solving, and organizational skills
Can work independently
Process improvement driven
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
