Position:
Application Engineer (FPGA Experience Required)

Job Description:

As an Embedded Software Engineer at Arrow Electronics, you will be developing embedded firmware & software that will be leveraged by Arrow's customers to enable their end-products and speed-up time to market.

Projects may consist of small modifications to existing code up to projects requiring ground-up firmware development driven by formal statements of work.

What You'll Be Doing:

Developing and implementing hardware design and coding solutions using FPGA architecture
Writing and debugging VHDL and Verilog code
Collaborating with software and hardware engineers to ensure compatibility and optimize system performance.
Conducting research and staying up to date on the latest FPGA technologies and trends
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues as they arise
Creating and maintaining technical documentation

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in FPGA design and programming
Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog programming languages
Knowledge of FPGA architecture and design principles
Experience with hardware design and implementation
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
