Position Overview:

The Buyer shall work in conjunction with the Purchasing Manager to achieve maximum service level, inventory turnover, and return on investment.

This position involves sourcing new vendors in Mexico and South America; negotiating pricing, as well as assisting the sales team in the US with special projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Source new vendors in Mexico and South America
Create and update new items on SAP
Negotiate pricing and delivery dates with vendors
Assist the US sales team with special projects
Schedule deliveries to the Aramco Imports warehouse in Los Angeles
Other tasks as required shall be assigned

Required Qualifications:

- more than 3 years of prior purchasing experience

Requirements:

Bachelor in accounting or administration (intern, titled or truncated)
2 years' experience
Male or female
Age of 28 to 40 years
Desirable to live no more than one hr. And a half from Polanco
Experience in packaging products for food.

Job Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of grocery products.
Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers and vendors.
Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.

Strong basic math skills.

Knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ordering systems

Education & Experience
Bachelor in accounting or administration (intern, titled or truncated)

3 years' experience

Age of 30 to 45 years

Experience in packaging
