A Day in the Life

Responsibilities include:

• Designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
• Developing efficient plant facilities layouts.
• Specifying procedures for tool and equipment fabrication and other functions affecting product performance.
• Adapting machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Incorporating inspection and test requirements into production plans.
• Inspecting machinery, equipment, and tools for efficiency and investigating corrective actions for problems and deficiencies.
• Developing manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control.
• Providing guidance on design concepts and specification requirements for best utilizing equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• E nsuring compliance with regulations.

An individual contributor responsible for advancing existing technology or introducing new technologies and therapies.

You will formulate, deliver, and/or manage projects assigned, working with stakeholders to achieve desired results.

Mentorship opportunities are available, and you may direct the work of lower-level professionals.

The majority of your time will be spent delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies - from design to implementation.

Autonomy: You will work as an entry-level individual contributor on a project or work team with close supervision.

Organizational Impact: Deliver work of limited scope, typically smaller, less complex projects or related activities.

Innovation and Complexity: Identify, define, and address problems that are not immediately evident but typically not difficult or complex.

Makes minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems.

Communication and Influence: Communicate primarily with internal contacts within the immediate group.

Contacts others to gather, confirm, and convey information.

Leadership and Talent Management: Not applicable, as this role focuses on self-development.

Required Knowledge and Experience: A broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education is required.
