Job Summary:


Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.

Ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.

Evaluates worker productivity and recommends improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control reductions.

Develops metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.

Working with the EH&S team, establishes accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation.


Activities:

Study of times and balances in production lines. Identification of labor requirements for the areas and production processes (NTR).

Identification of savings proposals through the combination of operations.

Leader and administrator of the PAR formats to get Capital projects. Manage PAR formats for capital projects. Take control of PAR project payments and a forecast covering 1 year of these payments. Participate in the PARs review boards for approval. Define the flow and route of new products in their processes.

Elaboration of the operative documentation, Process Sheets, Visual Aids, Packing Sheets, lay outs, rework sheets.

Elaboration of the documentation for processes of service parts Process Sheets, Visual Aids, Packing Sheets, lay Outs.


Development and evaluation of Layouts in areas of production and service, develop lay-out of new processes & implementation of the same, validation of changes to Layout, flows, design and valuation of racks and packaging in work stations.

Have safe, functional, updated, safe and ergonomic Layout, as well as flow diagrams, production standards, takt time and pitch.

Experience: - 5 years

  • Experience in PLM and QAD. Product Engineering Control
  • Product Development Experience
  • BOM reading
  • GD&T
  • Plastic injection processes
