    Position Overview

  • SGRE is currently seeking highly talented and motivated candidates for the Operational Readiness and Applications Manager position. The candidate will lead a small team ensure a proactive and structured approach to new site set up, new site performance, and applications rollout across the Americas region. In addition, this candidate will lead methodology within Operations, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency, resource optimization and cost reduction. This position is in the Operational Excellence group with Service Operations- Americas, which is responsible for driving improvements throughout Operations.
  • Leads a team of dedicated Operational Readiness and Applications Project Managers. Manages, coaches, supports and develops Project Managers in managing projects according to defined Project Management policies, guidelines, programs and standards.
  • Relocation will not be offered for this role.
  • Responsibilities

  • Manage the Operational Readiness team, including site set up, improvement processes and programs
  • Drive continuous improvement of the 72one99 and Operational Readiness processes
  • Lead application within Operations
  • Lead team to establish milestones and monitor project performance and adherence to master plan and schedules
  • Ensure accurate and fluid communication within the team and with stakeholders
  • Develop regional strategy for delivering field service applications
  • Lead project management for application development requirements and drive rollout
  • Lean Six Sigma project management
  • Advanced MS Office (word, power point, excel) skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with cross functional teams and demonstrated ability to influence/collaborate with others to achieve results for the business
  • Ability to work with the Service Portfolio teams and various support functions
  • Be self-motivated, able to think quickly and address problems as they arise
  • Ability to work in a highly paced environment and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Work as a change agent to coach and drive application improvements throughout Operational Excellence organization while working to increase the skillset of its employees
  • Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute or equivalent preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of Project Management disciplines e.g. customer value orientation, financials, planning & controlling, risk/opportunity management, stakeholder management, quality and EHS, team development, leadership in projects, etc.
  • Structured approach to project management and ability to handle project changes occurring in a dynamic environment
  • An influential team builder with a proven track record of successfully cultivating collaborative working teams that have produced measurable operational performance results
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or finance
  • Technical knowledge on the different SGRE platforms
  • 2+ years of Wind industry experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful project management experience
  • Power BI experience
  • Advanced MS Office (word, power point, excel) skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly paced environment and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to 25% travel
