As an North America System Sr.

Analyst supporting BPA Team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all Commercial Business Systems, including Vistex, SAP, and Salesforce.

This role will encompass system support and analytics for the Contracts, Pricing, BPA, Revenue Management, Operations, and Sales/Marketing groups in the North America region.

The Senior System Analyst will also be responsible for troubleshooting system issues and implementing enhancements as needed.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Support the compliance reporting processes and systems for Surgical contracts, pricing, and revenue management.
  • Assist in maintaining, updating, and providing systems access to new and existing individuals in the Contracts, Pricing, BPA, Sales, and Revenue Management groups for the North America region; including required training requirements.-
  • Provide functional guidance as needed for the 70+ internal business users across multiple service line teams to understand the processes and system elements, solicit input on issues, and escalate issues as discovered.
  • Develop, document, and maintain processes and procedures to support the segment finance function.
  • Support departmental audits to ensure no material findings.
  • Support the maintenance of SOX-compliant work papers on all activities as needed.
  • Support the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI's of Alcon division in accordance with accounting policies (based on IFRS).
  • Tasks include supporting US Operations with respect to internal and external reporting, including standard reporting as well as ad hoc analysis.
  • Retrieve complex data inputs from multiple sources and run reports from tools, ensuring data and reporting integrity.
  • Proactively find ways to streamline and automate reporting and daily activities with new technology or processes.
  • Ad-hoc planning and analysis projects, contract negotiations and pricing inquiries.
  • Assist in performing pricing analytics to ensure integrity and accuracy of customer level pricing with SAP.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance roles.
  • Background in maintaining systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Vistex
  • Innately curious and possesses a solid ability to think creatively and develop new solutions.
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of SAP and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performance
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, along with quantitative, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multinational, matrix organization, exhibiting leadership qualities.
  • Ability to critically review and improve initiative metrics.
