As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and supporting essential web services for the financial ecosystem.

This involves considering both functional and non-functional requirements, collaborating closely with other teams to evolve these services in line with our technological vision.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting other software engineers, demonstrating your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve established goals.

Responsibilities:

Your primary task will be to understand the underlying nature of the challenges that arise.
Design and implement effective solutions to address these challenges.
Develop software that contributes to achieving team and business objectives.
Resolve technical issues, correct errors, and intervene in incidents.
Proactively identify and communicate potential risks.
Promote and support best practices within the team.
Take on a mentoring and support role for other Software Engineers.
Ensure the team maintains a clear focus on project objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the field of software engineering.
Solid technical knowledge in programming is required.
Essential to have a deep understanding of the principles that make up quality code.
Fundamental mastery of relational databases.
Experience with at least one database engine.
Ability to integrate, design, and build APIs.
Proven experience in implementing and maintaining software products in production environments.
Knowledge of at least one architectural pattern (e.g., MVC).
Track record of success in delivering solutions that have required multiple iterations.
Ability to consider nonfunctional requirements from the early stages of design.
Ability to balance business, product, and technological considerations when making decisions.
Experience in microservices architecture.
Practical knowledge of Ruby.
Specific experience with Ruby on Rails.
Experience using AWS services.
