Job Description:

You will be relied upon for your experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals. You may lead and direct the work of others. You will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Training, education and/or experience in Computer Operations. Additional experience in computer hosting, Data center operations, etc. Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and crafts a winning culture.


Additional Job Description:


Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and performing work under general direction from their IT manager, inline with GMIT policies and procedures
  • Initiate incident process and followup.
  • Configure PC/printer mappings.
  • Provide initial troubleshooting of Internet connectivity issues.
  • Perform asset audits.
  • Build clients (GMOL/plant floor/wireless) per automated build script.
  • Configure a mobile phone for the plant.
  • Configure a plant floor scanner.
  • Configure a plant floor printer.
  • Audit Telecommunications Closets.
  • Swap switches with little guidance as needed.
  • Produce Cornerstone documentation and followup on compliance.
  • Power up/down infrastructure equipment.

Competencies / Skills

  • All IT Operations Specialist Education or Equivalent Experience
  • Required experience in similar position: from 1 to 3 years.
  • Available to change shifts (4x3, 5x2, 6x1). according to plan producction
  • English Level: Advanced.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan.
  • Excellent level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others
  • Proven ability in project management skills and ability to teach others.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.
  • Demonstrated ability in lead projects by coordinating the work of others.
