Manufacturing Engineer Temporary - Torreon

Primary Location:

Function:
Factory Engineering (CA)


Main Responsibilities:


  • Support Electronics Manufacturing operations by defining/implementing processes, equipment, fixtures, and work instructions.
  • Support daily operations by responding to tactical safety, process/equipment/fixtures, quality, and efficiency issues.
  • Support the uptime of tools, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Implement preventative maintenance activities of machines, fixtures, and drivers.
  • Perform continuance improvement activities to address safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct capital expenditure analysis and procure equipment.

What Skills You Need:


  • 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • 12 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
  • Advanced English (Spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime (daily and weekends as needed).

What Makes You Stand Out:


  • Experience in electronics manufacturing operations.
  • Experience implementing or troubleshooting electronics manufacturing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of database management tools, process, and production management systems.
  • Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical).
  • Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.

Education:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or 3 years of related experience.
