    Software Engineer - Front-end/ Full stack

    At Ottomatik, we are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on planning, developing, and maintaining fleet telematics software.

    Job Overview

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong software development skills, and expertise in technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and AWS services. Knowledge of C# .NET, React Native, and mobile development for iOS/Android is a plus.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for fleet telematics platforms, minimizing technical debt.
    • Lead and contribute to projects from planning through release.
    • Collaborate with various teams to become an expert on the platform's architecture.
    • Translate product requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
    • Follow best practices including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
    • Contribute to the product roadmap using Agile methodologies.
    • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure software quality and reliability.

    Qualifications

    • English proficiency at C1/C2 level.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in JavaScript and Node.js.
    • Experience in front-end development with HTML5, CSS, React, and MVC frameworks.
    • Cloud computing experience, especially with AWS.
    • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
    • Strong Git skills and experience resolving merge conflicts.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with mobile development (React Native, iOS, Android).
    • Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (TAIP, TCP, UDP, MQTT).
    • Understanding of the fleet telematics industry.
    • Agile Master certification and AWS certifications are a plus.
