We are looking for an experienced Senior Software iOS Engineer who cares about delivering cutting-edge software and is passionate about technology which drives digital excellence.

Responsibilities:


The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Define, build, and continuously iterate iOS experiences to support existing and explore new projects to improve the Porsche Customer experience and integration into the digital Porsche ecosystem.
  • Own and become a resident expert in various areas of iOS development.
  • Closely collaborate with local and global product teams (Product Owners, UI/UX,Engineering, Analytics, etc.) to develop reliable, scalable, and sustainable software solutions.
  • Ensure all code is effectively unit tested prior to being released to either the quality assurance team or user acceptance testing team.
  • Be an advocate of modern software development practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technologies and digital trends.

Skills:


  • Holistic understanding of endtoend data flow between containerized services and mobile clients.
  • Experience with implementing complex designs.
  • Familiar with quick code iterations and failfast approaches.
  • Experienced in working in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with highly scalable, highly available systems and services.
  • Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as CI, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code, and Test Automations.
  • Advanced English language skills (oral and written). English is our official language.
  • Team player.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience:


  • 7+ years of software development.
  • 5+ years of iOS development.
  • 3+ years of UI testing, Storyboards and Xcode.
  • Strong knowledge of Objective-C and Swift.
  • Experience in continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of iOS backend services.
  • Vast experience with multiple iOS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with different Cbased libraries.
  • Clear idea about push notifications, RESTful APIs, & cloud messaging.
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Experience of working in a global teamset up and multiteam environment.
  • Proficiency in test automation and accessibility requirements.
