Division Overview

Adenza's Accounting and Finance function plays a pivotal role in providing critical information and analysis to the business, enabling the company to make well-informed operating and strategic decisions.

The team is spread over four main office locations and is split into Financial planning & analysis, Business Partnering, tax and treasury, and Accounting.

The people working in this team are high-caliber team players who work together to support the business effectively and efficiently.

Team and Role Overview


Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable, Payroll Reporting, and Tax Compliance
Processing and payment of supplier invoices, employee expense reports, and intercompany invoices.

Interface with local accountants to process payroll, including calculation of pay for new hires and terminations, accurate calculation of payroll taxes, preparing payroll-related JEs, and maintenance of vacation balances.


Monthly Accounting Close:

Support the GL team to close books in line with the reporting calendar every month.
Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations for accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, cash, and multi-currency intercompany transactions.
Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements, cash flow, and variance analysis.
Maintain adequate accounting documentation.


Year-end Audit:

Assist during annual external audits or reporting, including preparing audit schedules and confirmations.


Other Reporting:

Reporting of daily bank balance, forecast for payments for next month, and other reports as may be required.
Skills And Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with at least 3-7 years relevant experience.
Must be highly accurate and detail-oriented, with the ability to work to meet deadlines.
Should be able to coordinate within the team very well along with the overseas team members
Analytical ability and computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Data analysis skills are very important to this position.
Personal style includes the ability to be self-motivated, a fast learner, organized, a team player, and a problem-solver.
Must have a "roll-up-the-sleeves" approach.
Comfortable working independently in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
Oracle Financials, Net Suite, or other ERP system experience strongly desired.
