    The Challenge

    As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for a Regional Payroll Lead for Latin America to play a key role managing the payroll service delivery in the region, working alongside a global and diverse team of senior payroll leaders ensuring and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes, governing end-to-end delivery in a timely and accurate manner.

    How you will make an impact

  • Play a key role in the Payroll transformation in the region and service manage the external partners and payroll providers engaged in this transformation and Payroll Operations.
  • Ensure payroll performance of third parties through key performance and risk indicators and find opportunities for improvement ( automating processes) to ensure global standard and efficient operational delivery.
  • Manage the communication with local and regional stakeholders and partners (such as local HR, HR Services, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, etc) to ensure efficient local payroll processes and clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Guarantee alignment with the global payroll standards and policies and implement a control framework for risk identification and risk mitigation in the region.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex payroll queries as they are escalated through HR, managers, and employees.
  • What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in HR and Payroll Operations, including vendor management, for Latin America countries (most critical countries: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile & Peru).
  • Collaborative style, happy to interact with many stakeholders , in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, Finance department, management, ...
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team, leading through building trust and empowering teams to deliver successfully.
  • Thrive in a global environment, working flexibly where required.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
