- Answer customer and internal customer service product technical inquiries using engineering/production data.
- Assist in determining how product is to be serviced with assistance from technical service or engineering depts
- Provide internal departments with corrections to current publications where identified
- Assist customers/Crossville in part dimensional information from prints
- Provide support on quotes for service units, (transmissions, axles, electronic controllers
- Provide support/participate in product launch/ product phase out/complexity reduction teams
- Propose service parts overhaul kits for specific components/units
- Help promote the sale of these products to our customers
- Provide solutions/solve problems
- Help promote the sale of Dana product
- Create solid customer relations and provide excellent customer satisfaction
- Be a problem solver and information source for the customer, with solutions and data
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS - Associates Degree in Engineering or related area experience
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES - Experience and product knowledge of Dana parts
- Technical aptitude/interest
- Customer focused
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written Technical
- Self-starter, able to accept responsibility and prioritize work load
- Computer knowledge required
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to read engineering prints
