MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:


As a Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing customers' strategy and business plan in order to achieve his/her accounts targets in terms of business growth.

Manage the commercial relationship with the Self-Services stores and market development (distribution, penetration & frequency) with profitability, building strong and productive customer relationships while developing his/her team.


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED IN SIMILAR ROLES:
Minimum 5 years relevant Account Management / Field Sales experience /Trade marketing


MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Develops the respective customer strategic plans, lead and work out a joint customer business plan, the negotiation process of trading terms, and its review aligned to Unilever ́s vision Lead the KAEs by identified sales strategy, job to be done, resources, and key enables required to maximize business and market opportunities

Develops and optimal integrated promotion plan (incl. selling the plan at the customer) and manage promo investments in line with Unilever ́s BU priorities and with trade marketing and finance functions alignment.

Manages the customer turn over (USG) and P&L

Monitors & review customer performance from data tracking of customer contribution and market share

Ensure shopper understanding of respective customer/channel.

Work closely with other functions:

other Sales Managers and Sales Teams, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and HR to ensure all operations are being smoothly run.

Seek for business opportunities in each channel to grow distribution and Unilever ́s products share.


LEVEL OF EDUCATION NEEDED:
University degree

WHAT YOU ́LL NEED TO SUCCEED?


Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 5 years relevant Account Management / Field Sales experience /Trade marketing
  • Proven people management and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to develop strategy, plan and implementing program of account plan (sell in) and end user promo (sell out) as well.
  • Customer orientation

Desirable:

  • Two years of customer marketing or trade category management.
  • Proficient English
  • Inclusive leadership / Positive energy

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR MAIN CHALLENGE?

  • Appoint, manage, and develop accounts throughout the correct contact matrix; and conduct periodic business review to validate distributor's sales performance and adherence to distributor's agreements.
  • Formulate and maintain IC sales standard operating procedures such as work plan, basic selling process, time management, effective coverage, stocks management, operational expenses and other related sales functions and activities to achieve sales force efficiency.
  • Manage distribution and stock availability of Unilever products with all key accounts.
  • Lead to ensure flawless execution of all activities: trade terms, promotions, activations such trade deals, distribution plans, merchandising, price increase.
  • Correct accruals collection and budget management.
  • Responsible of channel P&L
