Director of New Openings & Renovations within
Inclusive Collection, one of our 14 industry-leading brands.

In this role you will Collaborates with design, construction and operation teams in order to make sure that the brand guidelines are implemented.

Evaluates progress of construction advance and prepares detailed reports in order to let the operation team know the status, and trigger internal procedures.


A successful Director of New Openings & Renovations will:

  • Makes sure that all projects comply with HIC technical brand guidelines. Reviews, analyzes and approves the technical designs submitted by ownership
  • Conducts construction site inspections in order to evaluate the progress vs timeline
  • Prepares detailed monthly reports of construction advance
  • Participates in coordination meetings for projects
  • Generates Product Improvement Plans for potential takeovers
  • Liaising on a regular basis with RVPO and other internal departments, to ensure they have the information required to support a hotel opening
  • Provide support, when needed, with scope of works, pricing, vendors,
  • Providing proactive support to both the hotel GM and Field Operations during the hotel opening process
  • Develop, manage and improve a data base for future project reference. Create a "learned lessons & Best Practices" formal record
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a manager.

A successful Director of New Openings & Renovations will have:

  • Civil Engineer or Architect
  • Master in construction Project Management
  • 5 years of experience
  • PMP or PMO certification is desired
  • Proven experience as a construction project management
  • In depth understanding of construction methods
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office software
  • Knowledge of construction and project management software
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Hospitality industry understanding
  • Solid knowledge of MEP systems
  • Fluent in English and Spanish languages
