Position overview:


Reporting to the Americas VP of Finance, the Indirect Procurement Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the manufacturing, distribution and OpEx functions to provide support across a range of non-inventory procurement related activities, including responsibility of spend management activity across a range of OpEx categories.

Specifically, they will identify potential projects by analyzing category spend and market analysis to deliver improved products and services at lower costs through negotiations, supplier management, strategic sourcing, category management and total cost principles.


Responsibilities**:


  • Drive cost optimization activities for indirect spend categories across the Americas footprint
  • Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and longterm contracts with suppliers for the procurement of services and supplies
  • Manage company car programs
  • Manage T&E and expense reporting programs
  • Monitor, track and report savings and incremental value of sourcing activities
  • Act as escalation point for supplier performance issues
- lead price and contract negotiations to achieve the best value from supplier relationships
- govern the project execution in terms of managing project timeline, resource planning, resolve issues and mitigate risks, etc.
- analyze and develop different KPIs and performance metrics for continuous improvement

  • Research vendors and products to determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services
  • Analyze current spend and find areas to improve service, reduce costs, and streamline purchasing procedures
  • Identify and leverage companywide spend opportunities
  • Executing plans to achieve annual savings and business simplification (supplier reduction, process efficiency) targets
  • Negotiation of contract agreements with suppliers, in partnership with Legal Dept
  • Establish effective partnership with BUs via crossfunctional team approach

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of management level experience within various indirect procurement categories
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or comparable discipline
  • Industrial supply distribution and manufacturing experience highly desirable
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining selfservice Corporate Travel Management platforms (i.e. Concur, Egencia)
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining corporate travel and purchasing card programs
  • Experiences of implementation of sizable transformational projects is preferable
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrable ability to influence others at all levels of an organization
