Landis+Gyr Reynosa is looking for a Senior Planner with strong experience in production planning, production operations and supply chain management. You will play a key role in achieving our monthly sales objectives and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities/Processes:

• Review new customer orders; raw material availability, lead time & production capacity to assign ship dates
• Publish daily detailed production program, considering capacity and material availability, as well as any production line restrictions
• Take necessary actions to ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules
• Daily monitoring of production activities, through determined reports and meetings with production teams.
• Provide information to the Customer Account Teams on past due orders, material shortages, lead times and other inquiries
• Support NPI product implementation
• Meet monthly sales/financial targets
• Monitor daily shipments/sales and escalate any issues
• Coordinate production strategies with manufacturing and engineering teams
• Constant communication with purchasing, production, and warehouse leaders
• Interaction with engineering for support, evaluations and/or validations, as required
• Identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
• Responsible for communicating business related risks or opportunities to the next management level
• Support Landis+Gyr's quality processes.
• To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor in a related area
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of related work experience
• A combination of education and experience may be considered
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of the basic principles of forecasting, master planning, strong knowledge of MRP, JIT, production planning and production floor control techniques
• Proven critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of production planning
• APICS certification preferred
• Strong SAP skills (S4/Hana Implementation is a plus)
• Microsoft Office Excel
• Full understanding of the supply chain process
• High energy, data driven, and results oriented
• Fearless approach to work
