    Description As part of the CPKC SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) in the Information Systems (IS) team, the Business Systems Specialist for Supply Chain and Procurement will gather requirements, analyze, design, estimate, prioritize, build, test, implement and maintain the required IS solutions in the SAP MM and Ariba technology suite.

    The Specialist is also accountable to identify gaps, interdependencies, and opportunities to improve current applications and processes, recommend solutions that align with the overall company strategic goals.

    Accountabilities Develop an understanding of current IS applications at CPKC for Supply Chain and ProcurementMaintain and support existing CPKC applications (SAP ECC 6.0, SAP Ariba Suite, S / 4HANA)Work with business clients to understand requirements and establish recommendations for improvement;Design and implement sustainable solutions and enhancements based on best business practices and alignment to IS architectural standards;Provide deep domain knowledge in the Supply Chain and Procurement area;Understand the end-to-end business process and integration points for Source-to-Pay and how technology can be leveraged to increase efficiencies;Liaison between technical, functional, architecture and business teams;Work with Information Systems (IS) PMO and Change Management teams to configure, test and document system improvements in alignment with project delivery standards;Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);Flexible team player who prospers in a fast paced work environment;Think outside of the box and provide new perspectives on solving problems and delivering value to our business clients;Growth mindset with a commitment to lifelong learning.

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications University degree or equivalent in Commerce / Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science;Minimum 5 years' of experience in SAP operations support and project deliveryMinimum of 4 years' experience in configuring, implementing and maintaining SAP Ariba solutions (Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle Performance, Supplier Enablement, Contracts, B&I, Catalog, Invoice Management, ECC or S / 4 integration, etc.)Ideally 2 or more full project implementation lifecycles with SAP technology;Significant implementation and support experience in SAP Materials Management (Source-to-Pay, Inventory Management) and integration to other SAP modules (PM, PP, QM, FICO, Basis and Security)Hands-on experience as Ariba Customer Administrator, and strong techno-functional expertise in ECC 6.0 and S / 4HANAStrong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP and Agile like approaches;Some technical experience in ABAP programming / debugging, LSMW, Fiori development, reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferredWe Offer Complete health and welfare benefits packageCompetitive salaryIncentive planVacation planAdditional Information CPKC reaffirm our declaration of commitment to labor equality and non-discrimination by explicitly declaring the prohibition of requesting medical test of non-pregnancy and HIV as requirements for employment.
